You may be tired of hearing and reading that we only have 24 hours in a day. However, that statement is an undeniable truth (and that’s why we are constantly running into it).

As our time is limited, but the list of tasks is ever-growing, a virtual assistant can become a valuable time-saver and help you with web research, basic (or even advanced) digital marketing, booking appointments, sending emails, you name it.

You see, virtual assistants can help entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, and businesses such as yourself manage their time and resources more effectively, freeing up time for more critical tasks. But how and where do you find the perfect virtual assistant?

Where to find virtual assistants?

Thankfully, there are several ways to find a virtual assistant. You can browse online job boards and freelance websites like UpworkFreelancer, and Fiverr to post job listings and receive applications from qualified candidates. Alternatively, you can work with virtual assistant agencies like Zirtual or Boldly, which have a team of experienced virtual assistants and can match you with the perfect candidate.

Just so you know, I work as a Virtual assistant on Fiverr (check my profile here). I have had great experiences as a virtual assistant and I had done a variety of tasks, such as proofreading and editing, web research, market research, transcription, and more.

Search social media and ask in specialized groups.

Having several candidates is important, and social media is another great resource to find virtual assistants. You can reach out on LinkedIn to people with the set of skills and experience you are searching for.

A quick search for LinkedIn groups can be a great place to start your search.

You could also post on Facebook and LinkedIn groups, so instead of having to search on your end for a virtual assistant, they would be reaching out to you.

Things to keep in mind when searching for a virtual assistant.

First, it’s crucial to clearly understand the tasks you need them to handle and set a budget for their services when choosing a virtual assistant. This will help you narrow your search and find a virtual assistant with the right skills and experience at a price that works for you.

As additional advice, it is better to check their references and portfolios to ensure quality work. On the other hand, you could hire the candidate for a short trial to see if their communication style and working methods suit your needs.

Finally, clear communication is essential when working with a virtual assistant. Establish a communication plan to ensure they understand your expectations and can deliver the work you need on time.

In conclusion, finding the right virtual assistant is easier than ever with the numerous online resources available. With a clear idea of what you need, a budget in place, and an effective communication plan, you’ll find the VA who will help you manage your business and achieve your goals.
