Something strange happened this month, and I honestly was not expecting it.

Last year, I started working as an accountability partner, and yes, I have helped more than a dozen people to focus and work toward their goals, but I have to put the work into it.

However, I was hired by Joseph (not his real name) to help him practice a presentation. So far, everything seems normal, right? The thing is, Joseph told me that just having our meeting on his calendar made him practice the presentation… and he canceled our meeting while asking me to consider the session completed.

Again, I didn’t know that accountability could be so powerful, and I’m still surprised. No work on my end was needed D:

Has something like this ever happened to you? Has making the commitment to work on something with someone else been enough to make you complete the work? Let me know. I’m quite curious.
