Failure is my old and probably most frequent company. I’m the kind of person who is very sensitive to failure. You see, when I fail, I start doubting my self-worth and feel terrible.

However, I have learned that failure is a part of life. Every time I fail again, I remember all the times I’ve overcome it, and now it doesn’t hit me as hard as it did. Ironically, failing has taught me how to fail less because I don’t focus so much on failure but more on how to do damage control and prevent failure in the future. Good things happen when you stop hitting yourself so hard and feel more confident about your ability to succeed 🙂 The best thing is that it has made me more likely to succeed in my endeavors!

So, if I had one recommendation, we should understand we all make mistakes. I know it hurts; we can make huge mistakes that set us back, or worse, hurt others. It is very easy to drown in sorrow and regrets. I’m not saying at any point that mistakes and failures do not matter; they do, but we still have to allow ourselves to overcome failure. We deserve it 🙂
