I have a great idea of what my days should look like. However, my daily routine is far from perfect. I would dare to say that it is non-existent, as the only thing I can say for sure I do every day is waste time using my phone. I have a couple of games I play, such as Pokemon Go (at least this one makes me walk every once in a while) and a Gardening game (which is ironic because I don’t have any plants), but I still feel that most of the time I use my cellphone is a waste.

I can easily spend hours watching Instagram reels, reading Bored Panda articles, reading Dear Abby/Amy columns, and playing silly games on my phone. Luckily, I know I can’t do that if I want to progress, so I try my best to apply the time management techniques I recommend (Trying to put my money where my mouth is).
I use the Digital Wellbeing feature on my phone, I have time limits for many apps, and I recently added focus time for a big chunk of my weekdays. It helps, but it would help more if I didn’t need any of those things and I could just willpower through my challenges! In the meantime, I’ll continue tricking myself into being productive.
