I’m a rather chaotic person. I don’t have anything like a mourning routine (or any routine), but there’s something that I hardly ever miss, and that’s my morning coffee.

A big cup of coffee with milk helps me get over the trauma that I’m not sleeping (I love to sleep) and helps me to slowly embrace the day. As the hot beverage and the caffeine enter my body, I feel I’m getting ready for whatever might come.
Coffee-less mornings are… hideous. I’m a night owl in rehabilitation, so I try to go to bed at a decent time. The thing is… I still have sluggish mornings. On some days that I have an early errand, I can’t prepare myself a cup of coffee (or breakfast) and suffer through the morning until I get back home and prepare the bitter liquid that infuses me with life.

So, yes. As you can tell, I like drinking coffee, and it’s a habit that fills me with joy. Thanks for reading and enjoy your coffee 🙂
