I’ve always been considered a cat person.
When I was a baby, one of my first words was “bebé miau miau” (baby meow meow). It was love at first sight. I would pick up the cats or kittens without a single care if they scratched me, and my brothers would usually compare me with Elmyra Duff (whoops).
Now, I have nothing against dogs! I love them too 😀 They are just a bit more difficult for me to handle because they don’t clean themselves, and I haven’t had the chance to bathe a dog that doesn’t hate it; moreover, one of the only things my dalmatian Pepita feared was to see me in shorts, as that would usually mean she would be getting a bath. I would say that’s the only reason cats might have an advantage, as they seldom need to be traumatized by baths.
I think I owe a pet tax… but I have no photos of Pepita (she was afraid of cameras too xD ), but I searched through my photos for some of the wonderful cats and dogs I have owned (or seen). Here they are:

What do you prefer between cats and dogs? I would love to know which one and why 😀 Feel free to share it in the comments.
