When I read this, the initial thought that crossed my mind was: I would be in serious trouble.
Currently, I rely on this borrowed computer to work as an accountability partner and a virtual assistant on Fiverr. Without it, managing my client’s needs would be quite a challenge, especially on the virtual assistant side.
Now, adapting is something I’ve always managed to do, even in the face of my greatest fears. Not to brag, but I have confronted my biggest fear twice. That’s why I think that in a no-computer scenario I would work as an accountability partner on my phone. I might consider removing my virtual assistant gig from Fiverr to prevent under-delivering (Cellphone screens are too tiny for me… it just wouldn’t work).
However, if computers and even cellphones were off the table, my next step would be to explore new opportunities. Perhaps I would find a job in a plant nursery again! It’s fascinating to think about how we would adapt in a world without computers. What about you? What would you do?
